Aerial Darshan
Chartered Flight - 03 Days
A trip to mountain Kailash is an experience that remains etched in your soul forever. Though you have to move against high altitude, cold wind, chilly weather, and a challenging trek, the experience is no less than divine and spiritual. And the best part? It's our well-planned packages for facilitating you and providing you with a journey that's no less than a magical experience. From the rugged road of Nepal to the Darchen pass and Kailash Kora, we are responsible for everything. From savoury nutritious food to first aid, here's what one of our tourists has to say about us: “The team made our trip so meaningful, something I will treasure forever. You feel something greater than yourself, that is nature, the spiritual world, and even merciful strangers, long before Kailash emerges in the distance", as one traveller recorded on one of the trips booked with us.
The landscape shifts from lush hills to desolate and surreal plains once you get closer to Tibet. The only things around are the sky, sandy-colored mountains, and maybe a rare yak gazing at you as if it knows all your secrets. Perhaps it does, because somehow, everyone feels a little more alive, speaks a little quieter, and moves a little slower. Pilgrims often say they feel as if they are granted divine support. “Your ground coordination with Nepal and China felt seamless.
“You all were like agents of Shiva, organising this yatra as a guide because we feel so safe, satisfied and well informed,” said one devotee while chuckling. It is reassuring that logistics can’t really test your strength, while the mountain can. Then you see Mount Kailash for the first time, that recognisable black pyramid standing alone and under a cloud cover. Suddenly, people generally stop their chatting. Some start crying. Others laugh aloud as the moment feels too big to hold in their chest. “Those two weeks became a memory of a lifetime for us. We will always remember the darshan of Shiva and the assistance you provided us,” said a devotee from the USA.
The real adventure starts during the parikrama, or circumambulation. On the first day, it's almost flat, you will take enough photos to cause an error with memory on your phone, and you will have a feeling that, "Okay, I can do this." But on day two, the mountain gets to assess your spiritual Wi-Fi signal. At the highest point, Dolma La Pass, it is like a harsh God that demands your respect. Your body is moving slowly, the air is thin, and your soul is wide awake. In this environment, people willingly help each other through hand-holding, sharing food, and making jokes to get a laugh.
“We travelled without any inconvenience; the team took care of everything, and the food felt like comfort food from home. Picture drinking hot soup while the prayer flags are flying around you like bright confessions as your breath fills the air with fluffy clouds of cold”, a woman from a 12-person American group remarked. The calm disposition following Dolma La is Lake Mansarovar. Its waters glimmer as if made of liquid moonlight. Pilgrims perform pujas, take dips, or simply lounge by the sea, feeling an ease that is unfamiliar to them. The quiet in this space is thick, alive, and almost buzzing.
This is not a luxurious trip. Altitude sickness is a disease waiting to happen; the lodging is rudimentary, and the wind will frighten you. The issue is that the angst, pain, and suffering are part of the story you fall in love with. It ultimately reduces existence to its essentials: hot meals, steady breathing, the hand of a companion, and the love of a companion.
And it all hinges on the support staff. Many travellers appreciate how things are managed. One pilgrim shared, "Everything was managed so well, we were able to focus on the spiritual instead of the logistical. Only when you are craving hot water, an extra blanket, or someone to simply ask does it hit you how much it matters." When the journey concludes, the vast majority of pilgrims are lighter in spirit versus luggage weight (because you've almost certainly overpacked food).
Stress, overthinking and your ego can be dissolved in a peculiar way by Kailash, leaving behind a clarity that you didn't even know you desired. For some, the shift is subtle, for others, it's monumental, but for everyone, it's unforgettable. The Kailash trek is amazing because it changes you in ways you never expected. One minute you are belly laughing with strangers who feel like family, and the next you are gasping for breath on a steep climb.
Long after you smell the hot soup that comes after you’ve walked for long enough. Long after you hear the prayer wheels spinning in the distance, or enjoy the sun on your face from the cool morning. Each step of the journey is representative. The mountain is giving you a great lesson, incomprehensible. By the end, you don’t just return, you have changed.
