The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a spiritual pilgrimage to Mount Kailash (6,638 m) and Lake Mansarovar in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It holds sacred significance in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Hindus believe Mount Kailash is the abode of Lord Shiva. Jains believe it is the site where Rishabhdev, their first Tirthankara, attained liberation. Buddhists associate it with Demchok (Chakrasamvara), a wrathful deity. Bon followers see it as the spiritual seat of all power.
