Day 01: Lucknow to Nepalgunj (195 km / 4-5 hours)
Your journey with the Kailash Yatra by charter flight begins at 9:00 AM in Lucknow, where you will meet your fellow travellers and the friendly tour manager from WOO Adventures. From there, you’ll continue in an air-conditioned vehicle to Nepalgunj, the starting point of your aerial darshan in southern Nepal. The drive to Nepalgunj passes through the bustling town of Bahraich, before turning south and approaching the Rupariah border. Here, the immigration and security procedures will take place — first at the Indian checkpoint and then at the Nepalese checkpoint. Keep your documents ready and be prepared for some waiting time, as the immigration process may take longer than expected.
Once we cross into Nepal, the road trip to Nepalgunj continues — a fairly scenic and engaging journey. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the 5-star Hotel Soaltee, where accommodation is on a twin-sharing basis, giving you the perfect opportunity to bond with your travel companions.
By evening, our representatives will provide a detailed briefing about the upcoming itinerary and share insights into the spiritual significance of Mount Kailash. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, clarify your doubts, and even hear experiences from veteran yatris. With a delicious meal and a comfortable overnight stay, Day 1 of your journey comes to a close.

Day 02: Scenic Mountain Flight for Kailash Darshan
You’ve been waiting for this moment, and today, the WOO Adventures team will assist you with your group transfer to Nepalgunj Airport after a light round of refreshments. As with all mountain flights, weather conditions will decide when your chartered Bombardier aircraft is cleared for take-off. In case of delays, travellers may need to wait at the airport, a modest facility with limited amenities. Once cleared by air traffic control, you’ll embark on an unforgettable one-hour spiritual journey. From your window seat, marvel at the majestic Mount Kailash in all its glory, the shimmering waters of Lake Mansarovar, and the towering Himalayan peaks including Api, Saipal, and Nampha, standing eternal like heavenly sentinels. With clear skies and a cruising altitude of 27,000 feet, the flight promises awe-inspiring, uninterrupted views from the comfort of your seat.
After your divine darshan, the aircraft will return to Nepalgunj, where a staff member will escort you back to the hotel for a well-earned breakfast and lunch. Take this time to rest, reflect, and relive the most cherished moments of your spiritual experience. In the evening, we’ll visit one of Nepal’s most revered Hindu Shakti Peethas, Bageshwori Temple. Day 03: Nepalgunj to Lucknow (190 km / 4-5 hours)
The time has come to return to Lucknow with your Kailash Yatra by charter flight. After breakfast, your vehicle will depart around 9:00 AM, retracing the same picturesque route back. Following the exit formalities at the border, you’ll continue the journey to Lucknow Airport with your group.
Though the tour comes to an end, the blessings, memories, and spiritual energy from your darshan of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar will stay with you for a lifetime.
